The Branch of Peace Foundation’s educational programs and services provide a number of learning opportunities to support growing peace in our world.
The Foundation’s “Peace is a Verb” peace-building partnerships are initiatives in which peace-building educational workshops are provided on real time basis to teachers and students in schools, health and social service organizations, and businesses, to support growing the mediation capacity of individuals and organizations alike.
In addition to workshops, the Foundation also provides training and certification in the “Peace is a Verb” peace-building model of mediation, which is a quickly growing approach to successfully moving conflict toward resolution, as well as education kits to support continuing the education process in schools, businesses, and organizations by ‘Peace is a Verb” certified trainers.
The Branch of Peace is also involved with supporting peace education and outreach at a variety of community events, and public forums every year.
