The Peace Walk… is a Branch of Peace Foundation sponsored event that supports the growth of peace, through bringing people together regardless of all differences to walk together in partnership to “exercise” the value of peace.
Although we come from many paths, the peace walk supports communities, organizations, and businesses to join in partnership to walk together in one direction to cultivate the growth of peace in our world.
Through joining the peace walk, participants add their good thoughts and actions for peace together with others to support the growth of peace, and move the world in a more peaceful direction.

The International Day of Peace was established unanimously by the Nations represented in the United Nations as being the 21st day of September each year “to be brought to the attention of all people for the celebration and observance of peace”, and to be observed as “a day of global ceasefire and non-violence, and an invitation to all nations and people to honor a cessation of hostilities for the day”.
The Branch of Peace Foundation sponsors events each year in support of growing awareness and support for the International Day of Peace, and for peace each and every day, in partnership with communities, organizations, educational institutions, and businesses worldwide, as a catalyst for growing peace within us and among us, individually, locally, and globally.
